Lisa and Simon’s Wedding 1st November.

On a overcast autumn day Lisa and her two daughters arrived early to get ready in our secret room for the every exciting day ahead. The nervous soon dissipated once dresses were hung up, makeup was being applied and hair teased into place. The mid morning snack of Danish Pastries certainly help to revitalise everyone and the morning soon passed and it was time for everyone to step into their dresses, Lisa’s two daughters put on their bridesmaid dresses first, before helping their mum into her beautiful bridal gown, everyone stood back for a moment and admired Lisa whilst trying not to shed a tear and ruin their makeup.

Simon and all their guests were wait expectantly in our ceremony room for Lisa’s imminent arrival, as the doors opened everyone turned around to try and catch their first glimpses of Lisa, her bridesmaids lead the way down the aisle revealing Lisa in her stunning white bridal gown, as the bridesmaids took their seats Simon could now see his bride-to-be in all her beauty for the first time that day, his smile grew, it was a very touching moment when they were able to hold hands.

The ceremony finished to the sound of applause as Simon and Lisa shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

Simon and Lisa could now relax with a chilled glass of bubbly along with all their guests who took the opportunity to congratulate them before Ashley Paton photography whisked them away for some wonderful intimate photos together in and around the house and grounds, the weather just added to the atmosphere of the day they were able to capture some fabulous outdoor shots.

All too soon it was time for the wedding breakfast to be served in the banqueting hall once everyone had found their seats and the first course could be served, the room soon filled with the joyous sound of friend and family catching up on times past.

After the speeches had finished the DJ could put on the first tunes of the night, the evening guests started to arrive and the party could really get under way. Once Lisa and Simon had cut some smoothed moves on the dance floor for their first dance, they invited their guest to join them. One of our favourite bands One Foot in the Groove then came on soon after to perform their first set.
